Steps to enable Remote Support

If you have agreed with Cryptera Support to enable Remote Support please use the following steps:

1) Click the following “TeamViewer Remote Support” icon:

2) Run the executable file once it has finished downloading to start a Remote Support Session.

3) If the following “Security Warning” should appear, click the “Yes” button.

4) Accept the Cryptera disclaimer by clicking the “Accept” button.

5)  Provide Your “Session code” and your name to Cryptera Support to allow them to connect to your desktop.

Liability

Please note that by allowing Cryptera to connect, you accept that Cryptera can only help in testing environments and that Cryptera has no liability.

How secure is TeamViewer?

As stated on the TeamViewer security page:

“TeamViewer includes encryption based on RSA private-/public key exchange and AES (256 bit) session encryption. This technology is based on the same standards as https/SSL and is considered completely safe by today’s standards. The key exchange also guarantees full, client-to-client data protection. This means that even our routing servers will not be able to read the data stream.”
